Frank "Silverback" Wales is one of the 4 lieutenants under the command of the Wolves leader Cole D. Walker.
Biography
A tough kid from New Jersey, Frank grew up with an old-fashioned father who beat him with a belt when he screwed up. Nonetheless, Frank loves his father, and is openly grateful for the way his father raised him.
Professional career
Frank served in the 75th Ranger Regiment and SOG, and after a fifteen-year career working for the government, left active duty for the private sector. Only after joining Sentinel did he discover the advantages of high-tech war tools. This is where he also discovered his knack for solo stealth missions. Recommended by Trey Stone, Cole D. Walker and Peter Miles recruited him to join the Wolves.
Reputation
Silverback is known as a reliable and overachieving soldier. Laconic, his leadership tends to think of him as a blunt weapon with which to club their enemies. They do not see potential leadership qualities in him.
Relationships
He has a wife, Maggie, son Kyle age 7, and daughter June age 3, back home in North Carolina. He has no close friends among the Wolves, who refer to him as "Silverback" and sometimes as "The Silverback."
Equipment
During his final encounter in-game in See No Evil, Silverback is a unique Wolf Breacher armed with his own customized KSG12 shotgun and flashbangs.
Additionally, in The Enemy Of My Enemy he can be seen holding a customized 516 assault rifle, and in An Eye For An A.I., he uses a P227 handgun to assassinate Ian Blake.
